Most of the pictures above are not current. The photo of Puckles Pond was taken before the pond-dipping platform was built. The summer water levels in all the ponds in the Reserve have dropped considerably since 2004. If they were to dry up completely, BDC Countryside Services are committed to digging new ponds in order to provide habitats for the many aquatic and semi-aquatic species living in and visiting the Reserve. |
